PLEASE MAKE NOTE ..... Donkeys are born with the guarding ability, they are natural defenders and will hurt or kill dogs.Your
pet dogs would not be safe running in a pasture with a donkey, so safe secure fencing is needed in order to protect your dogs
if you adopt a donkey
*******We will only allow an adoption of a donkey if you already own one, or wish to adopt 2 or more from us,from interaction
of our donkeys we see how they really need another of their kind.
We have been blessed to have several donkeys come in our gates. These donkeys have taught us how very different they are
from their equine friends, horses. Not only do they act, eat and communicate differently, they are also very loving and intelligent.
ALL OF OUR Donkeys ARE PETS N O T guard animals.

Mr Baxter .... Is around 12 years old, he is half stand half minaute donkey standing at around 40 inches tall. He is
a gelding. He is choclate brown. Very vocal and very very friendly. He loves to follow you about and loves to supervise what
ever is going. He is usally the first donbkey to greet you int he pasture. He allows small children to sit on him, but don't
count on him moving off. He is a toal love bug. Will load in a trail (given time)!!!! Adoption fee $200

Willow ..... Is a 5 year old (as of July 2011) jennet donkey female. She is a light tan and white
paint girl. She stands at around 11 hands high and is a standard. She is SWEET SWEET, very friendly and loves to be petted
on. Will stand for grooming, hoof trims and fly spray. Is halter broke and will happily wander with you. Has a "halloween"
sound bray, and we feel we could put her at the front gate on halloween night to scare everyone who came trick or treeting
! You have to hear her to understand what we mean. She gets along well with other donkeys and horses, does not like dogs.

Goosebumps ..... is middle aged at about 15 years old. She is a standard jennet of around 11 hands
tall. She is grey with white undertones and a little red mixed in. She has the corner of oneof her ears missing and has a
blue tone to her right eye from an old untreated ulter she had before she came here. She is super friendly, and will stand
for fly spray, farrier and grooming. She has given small people bareback rides on a lead line. She gets along with horses
and other donkeys and is near the bottom in the pecking order of our herd. She is not good with dogs (as most donkeys aren't).
